BRINGING ENTERTAINMENT TO WEB 3.0

With Web3, the world is becoming more interactive – so it makes sense for animation series to listen and interact with their audience in a way that has never been seen before!

Every TV show is the same in that you are solely a viewer, except for maybe one or two Netflix shows which have some interaction, but even then it is not the same. Like the ending of Game of Thrones, there are elements that you wish you had the chance to alter, to prevent it becoming so bad! Well, with majority votes on a selection of characters and some scenarios, Block Mirror makes sure that the majority of viewership is happy while making the entire animation process much more collaborative.

WHAT AND WHERE IS BLOCK MIRROR!?

Block Mirror is a world or better put – a metaverse in which people have had a copy of their consciousness minted onto the blockchain. The inhabitants live on a Network called The Metaclone. Since the data size of each block has it’s limitations only their heads remain! Each character is contained within their own block, which is where they spend their time in an increasingly populated metaverse as more blocks are created.

There are however, just like in the real world, some bad characters, who thirst for power and are set on controlling the majority of the Metaclone Network by gaining control of 51% of all nodes, enslaving many of the inhabitants under their rule. The inhabitants are divided across multiple cities and off grid tribes, making them easier targets for the evil overlord and his corrupt minions to achieve their goal. It is down to a couple characters that attempt to set out and form an alliance with the tribalistic ‘one coiners’ and Block city leaders in order to protect the majority of the nodes from being controlled by one ruler.

Block cities have established themselves near their local nodes, living their life as best they can, some mining for a living, some are brokers, and others are just plain broke living underground in the lower layers of the network such as Pump n’ Dump Alley.

Block Mirror aims to bring comedy to the crypto community and beyond. In times when there is economic strife, one of the best thing we can do for ourselves is laugh.

THE BLOCK MIRROR META TICKET!

With this ticket, you will be able to decide which characters you will want to be minted into the Block Mirror Metaverse! Each time a new voting period begins you will be given a choice of 3 potential characters, and the character with the most votes at the end is minted and uploaded into the animation series! As time goes by more characters will enter into the show allowing for more creativity with script and character interactions.

This ticket will be minted on a well established blockchain, ideally on the XRPL if the XLS-20d gets approved soon.

HOW IS IT MADE...

This project uses a combination of 2D animation made primarily in After Effects and 3D for environmental design inside Blender. This is a passion project, taking things that I have learned in my own time and working hours!

An idea I have is to create a metaverse where it is fully explorable. As a form of funding, I will also allocate space where you can own your own block or building for everybody to see with varying tiers.
